Dozens of lawsuits have been filed against Barry J. Brock during his 44-year career at Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. The cases by female patients assert that Brock’s misconduct has left their babies with permanent and catastrophic physical and cognitive disabilities.

The patients say Brock—who labeled himself “The King” of VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean)—put his own personal interests, and ego, above the health and safety of patients by refusing to perform necessary cesarean sections which has resulted in their children suffering from oxygen deprivation, physical traumas, and permanent mental deficits during labor and delivery.

On top of this, Brock is also being sued by multiple women who say Brock forced himself on them, while sexually exploiting and abusing them, under the guise of medical care and treatment.

In addition to OB/GYN Brock’s 44-year tenure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Brock also worked out of The Rodeo Drive Women's Health Center, and The Beverly Hills OB/GYN Clinic. Some patients say Cedars-Sinai instructed them to go see Brock at one of their other offices, instead of at the hospital itself.

The patients’ recent court document a pattern of Brock’s misconduct and abuse at Cedars-Sinai, and the remote clinics, that spans over the past several decades. Patients also assert that top administrators at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center received multiple complaints over the years about Brock’s misconduct, but did nothing except cover-up Brock’s crimes while continuing to expose a countless number of unsuspecting female patients to a known predator.

As a result of an internal investigation conducted by Cedar’s Sinai Hospital, OB/GYN Barry J. Brock’s medical privileges have been revoked by Cedars-Sinai administrators. Cedars-Sinai has also quietly, but completely, deleted Barry Brock’s name and doctor’s profile from their website.
